Job summary

Theuniversityunion is seeking a Title One Teacher/Tutor to deliver reading and/or math interventions to students under supervision. The role centers on improving academic success through targeted Title One services aligned with building goals.

Responsibilities include administering progress monitoring, communicating with parents, developing schedules, and maintaining accurate logs. A valid Ohio teaching certificate and experience with diverse learners are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required.
• Valid Ohio teaching certificate or license required.
• Criminal background clearance from Ohio BCI & FBI required.
• Special education training preferred.
• Experience with diverse learners and students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide reading and/or math intervention focusing on Tier 2 and Tier 3 students.
• Rank students by need for Title One services.
• Administer STAR benchmarking and progress monitoring.
• Communicate Title One services through Parent Notifications.
