Job summary

Learn It Academic Services is seeking a Math Intervention Teacher in New Orleans to deliver targeted reading and mathematics support. You will create engaging learning experiences and work as part of a collaborative educational team to provide high-quality instruction in small groups.

The role emphasizes data-driven planning, ongoing progress monitoring, and close collaboration with school personnel and families to support student growth and success in core academic areas.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Teaching Certification or Statement of Eligibility
• Teaching experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
• Title I experience preferred
• Ability to complete district fingerprinting and background clearance, when applicable
• Reliable internet access and a computer with webcam for remote teaching, when applicable

Responsibilities

• Create exceptional learning experiences for students in need of academic support
• Develop lesson plans and implement academic interventions in reading and mathematics
• Engage students in learning and maintain a positive classroom environment
• Assess, document, and report student academic data and progress
• Collaborate and communicate with principals, classroom teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team
• Implement program components and adhere to applicable compliance requirements
