Job summary

St. Francis Area Schools - ISD 15 is seeking a Math Intervention Teacher for a long-term substitute at East Bethel Elementary (K-5).

The assignment runs January 4 to March 29, 2027, delivering Tier 3 math interventions to identified students and collaborating with general education staff. Applicants must hold a current Minnesota teaching license and have knowledge of/experience with K-5 math instruction and interventions.

Qualifications

• Current MN teaching license is required.
• Knowledge of/experience with K-5 math instruction & interventions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide research-based Tier 3 math interventions to identified K-5 students in small groups.
• Routinely monitor student progress using curriculum-based measurements, diagnostic probes, and standardized progress-monitoring instruments.
• Analyze weekly progress monitoring data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make timely decisions regarding instructional adjustments.
• Collaborate regularly with general education classroom teachers to align intervention topics with Tier 1 core classroom instruction.
• Actively participate in the school's Student Intervention Team (SIT).
• Regularly communicate student progress with families.
