Job summary

AMIkids in the United States is seeking an Instructor to support program academic learning and testing, delivering lesson plans and guiding students toward earning credits or a GED.

The role emphasizes assisting with core subjects, life skills, and career readiness while using behavior modification and data-driven records to track progress; you will supervise activities and serve as a positive role model for youth in a structured setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Two years of experience working with youth.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate academic needs of youth; provide professional instruction and teaching to a diverse population as appropriate.
• Provide instruction related to core subject areas and electives according to lesson plans, IEPs and AMIkids Blended Learning Model.
• Motivate and guide youth toward the successful accomplishment of educational goals and objectives.
• Maintain timely accurate and complete youth records (including lesson plans and grades).
• Act as advisor and positive role model for youth; supervise classroom activities and manage behavior.
