AMIkids, Inc. in Louisiana is seeking an Instructor to support program academic learning and testing functions, and to lead classroom activities.

The role requires dedication to helping youth realize their potential and operate within AMIkids' blended learning model and behavior modification system. You will implement lesson plans, align instruction with IEPs, and motivate youth toward achieving credits or GED certification while maintaining accurate youth records and a safe learning

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• At least two years' experience working with youth.
• Ability to facilitate lesson plans and track student progress.

Responsibilities

• Assists with program academic learning and testing functions.
• Facilitates lesson plans and helps students earn credits or GED.
• Provides instruction in core subjects and electives as per IEPs.
• Maintains youth records and educational materials.
• Supervises classroom activities and computer-based assignments.
• Coordinates day trips and special activities as needed.
• Maintains a safe, respectful learning environment.
