AMIkids Jacksonville is seeking an Academic Instructor (GED) to support classroom learning and testing. You will implement lesson plans, manage student progress, and use the blended learning model to help youths earn credits or prepare for the GED.

Responsibilities include supervising activities, maintaining records, and providing guidance with life skills and career readiness. This is an on-site role in Jacksonville, FL, requiring patience and empathy with a diverse student population.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• Two years of experience working with youth.
• Ability to implement lesson plans and AMIkids Blended Learning Model.

Responsibilities

• Assist with program academic learning and testing functions in classrooms.
• Provide instruction in core subjects and electives per lesson plans and IEPs.
• Motivate and guide youth toward educational goals and credits or GED.
• Maintain youth records including lesson plans and grades.
• Supervise classroom activities and computer-based assignments.
