Job summary

Mathnasium in Las Vegas, NV is seeking passionate instructors to help 2nd–12th grade students master math concepts. You will be part of a supportive team, teaching after school and weekend sessions with flexible, part-time hours.

Experience with children is preferred; candidates will take a math literacy test and complete a background check. A positive, encouraging attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with children ages 5-17 is preferred but not required.
• Math proficiency as determined by a skills evaluation on topics ranging up to Algebra I and Geometry

Salary

• $12-$25/hour

Schedule

*Instructors are expected to work a minimum of 3 days per week

• Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Saturday/Sunday: 11:00 AM–2:00 PM

Requirements

• Experience with children ages 5-17 is preferred but not required

• Ability to work a minimum of 3 days/week, distributed across 2 or more center locations
• Reliable Transportation to and from center locations
• All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
