Job summary

Mathnasium is hiring part-time Math Instructors/Tutors for Beverly Hills and Woodland Hills locations. You will help 2nd–12th grade students with math in a supportive, fun environment after school and on weekends.

We offer training, development, and advancement opportunities, plus a flexible schedule and a collaborative team culture. A math literacy test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping students learn math.
• Ability to work with kids after school and on weekends.
• Willingness to learn Mathnasium Method™.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement during sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
• Complete math literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass background check.

Salary

• $19-$21/hour

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 2:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Saturday/Sunday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Requirements

• All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
