Job summary

Mathnasium of Red Rock and Mathnasium of Summerlin are hiring math instructors/tutors. We aren’t just looking for people who are good at math—we want passionate, friendly and enthusiastic people who enjoy helping kids. We will teach you everything else you need to know!

Work is after school and on weekends with minimum 3 days per week. Schedule: Monday–Thursday 3:00 PM–8:00 PM; Saturday/Sunday 11:00 AM–2:00 PM. Salary is $13–$15/hour, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience with children ages 5-17 is preferred but not required
• Math proficiency as determined by a skills evaluation on topics ranging up to Algebra I and Geometry
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 days/week, distributed across 2 or more center locations
• Reliable transportation to and from center locations
• All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check
