Job summary

Mathnasium LLC. is seeking enthusiastic Math Instructors/Tutors in the Las Vegas area to help students from 2nd to 12th grade build confidence and mastery in math. You will be part of a supportive team and receive ongoing training to apply the Mathnasium Method.

The role offers flexible, part-time hours after school and on weekends, with opportunities for advancement and a focus on helping kids succeed in math. A background check and math assessment are required.

Qualifications

• Math proficiency to support topics up to Algebra I and Geometry
• Experience with children ages 5-17 preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation to and between center locations
• Math literacy test, work authorization and background check required

Responsibilities

• Tutor 2nd–12th grade students to develop math understanding
• Deliver sessions at Mathnasium centers during after-school and weekend hours
• Assist with math teaching methods and participate in ongoing training

Salary

• $13-$15/hour

Schedule

*Instructors are expected to work a minimum of 3 days per week

• Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Saturday/Sunday: 11:00 AM–2:00 PM

• Mathnasium of Summerlin

Requirements

• Experience with children ages 5-17 is preferred but not required
• Math proficiency as determined by a skills evaluation on topics ranging up to Algebra I and Geometry
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 days/week, distributed across 2 or more center locations
• Reliable Transportation to and from center locations
• All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
