Job summary

Henry County Schools seeks an Instructional Effectiveness Facilitator to support continuous improvement by aligning CSIPs with the district vision and leading instructional change. The role collaborates with the Principal and leadership team to drive data-informed decisions.

The position coordinates professional development on highly effective instruction, provides coaching and feedback to staff, and ensures alignment with the Plan of Action for Student Achievement.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia Educator Certificate or district credentials required; master's level preferred.
• Minimum of five years of certified teaching experience in education.
• Ability to work well with students, parents, staff and the community.
• Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, strong professional reputation.
• Adherence to the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
• Regular, predictable attendance and reliable on-site presence.
• Ability to supervise students, including during emergencies.
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, sitting, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Principal and school leadership with implementation and evaluation of the continuous improvement process.
• Coordinate and facilitate professional development and coaching for highly effective instruction (literacy, student agency, goal setting, engagement, acceleration).
• Provide instructional support through classroom observations, data analysis, modeling, coaching and feedback.
• Align school improvement efforts with Henry’s Plan of Action for Student Achievement.
• Serve on the school leadership team.
• Attend district trainings and meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
