Job summary

Henry County Schools is seeking an Instructional Effectiveness Facilitator to support the district’s continuous improvement process within the Learning & Performance division. You will assist the principal and leadership in linking school goals to the district vision and strategic direction.

You will coordinate professional development and coaching on highly effective instruction—focusing on literacy, student agency, engagement strategies, and academic acceleration—while providing classroom

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Georgia Educator Certificate or credentials required by the district, master's level preferred.
• Minimum of five years of successful certified level experience in education, preferred.
• Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Must abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
• Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.

Responsibilities

• Assist Principal and school leadership with implementation and evaluation of the continuous improvement process.
• Coordinate and facilitate professional development and coaching support related to highly effective instruction, including literacy, student agency and goal setting, learning engagement strategies, and academic acceleration.
• Provide instructional support to staff through classroom observations, data analysis, modeling, coaching, and feedback.
• Work with school leadership to align school improvement efforts with Henry’s Plan of Action for Student Achievement.
• Serve on the school leadership team.
• Attend district trainings and meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
