Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Certification: Valid Georgia teaching certificate or ability to acquire; online learning competency required.
• Skills: Knowledge of RCSS curriculum, technology integration, Canvas LMS, and effective instructional practices.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Director of Teaching and Learning, coaches teachers to increase content knowledge and instructional skills.
• Demonstrates research-based, learner-centered instructional strategies.
• Leads targeted professional development on standards-based instruction and assessment.
• Analyzes instructional practices and data to inform growth areas and plan supports.
• Designs and delivers professional development on best practices and data-informed instruction.
• Develops coaching plans to improve student achievement and progress.
• Models direct instruction and intervention across content areas.
• Supports online and face-to-face instruction and learning environments.
