Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Five years of successful mathematics teaching experience at elementary or secondary level.
• Virginia Postgraduate Professional License with endorsement in Math or Elementary Education PreK-6 required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of the math instructional program and align with Virginia standards.
• Plan and facilitate professional learning to improve student outcomes.
• Collaborate with school-based teams to support math resources and instruction.
• Coordinate special math projects and initiatives and support budget processes.
• Coordinate with MTSS, Special Education, ELL, Gifted, and other departments to provide integrated instructional services.
• Support Math Resource Teachers and School-Based Math Support Positions through coaching and planning.
• Assist with selection and distribution of math materials and equipment and maintain inventories.
