Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time RN for the Maternity unit at Atrium Health University City in Charlotte, NC. The position is 24 hours per week with a 7a–7p schedule and eligibility for benefits.

The role requires an RN license with BLS, BSN preferred, and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting while maintaining high quality patient care. You may float to related units as needed and must adhere to safety and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Education Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Certification / Registration / License Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides client nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives and professional councils to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans, coordinating with the care team.
• Provide safe medication administration and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and adhere to safety standards.
