Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the employed state(s).
• BLS certification required.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care for patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains a culture of safety and accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area to meet patient care needs.
