Job summary

Malama Health seeks a Community Doula to serve as a Maternity Care Navigator and build Malama’s presence in the local region. The role bridges providers, CBOs, and patients to ensure policy and care protocol execution.

You will conduct outreach, build relationships, and support pregnant and postpartum members using our tech-enabled care platform. Louisiana-based, with regional travel required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in Community Health Work, Doula, Case/Care Manager, or Social Worker.
• Must be a certified birth doula prior to employment (training, births, CPR).
• Proficient with Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Care Management and outreach to identify patient needs.
• Coordinate with health plans and care teams to drive services to completion.
• Use motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care in patient interactions.
