Job summary

Arizona Department of Health Services seeks a Maternal and Fetal Health Program Manager 3 to lead statewide strategies under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). The role focuses on implementing evidence-based maternal and fetal health interventions, expanding workforce capacity, and improving access to quality care in rural and Tribal Arizona.

The position works with AIM bundles, obstetric simulation, APAL, and perinatal mental health workforce development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in public health may substitute for up to 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide maternal and fetal health strategies aligned with the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).
• Advance evidence-based initiatives such as AIM bundle implementation and perinatal mental health training.
• Provide technical assistance to healthcare systems and tribal partners to support program implementation.
• Drive data-informed program improvement and CQI efforts across partnerships.
• Represent ADHS in statewide and national discussions on maternal and fetal health.

Education

Bachelor in public health or related field

Master’s degree in public health (substitutes for 2 years experience)
