RTX is seeking applicants for an onsite role in the US (New York area) focused on materials testing and analysis. You will perform destructive and non-destructive testing, prepare samples, calibrate equipment, and maintain accurate records.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety and CORE guidelines and includes occasional duties beyond listed tasks. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience, strong attendance, and good interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attendance record.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work outside regular shift.
• Ability to wear a respirator.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform destructive and non-destructive testing to verify material meets customer requirements.
• Prepare samples and calibrate equipment.
• Analyze samples and adjust procedures for unique materials.
• Record and report test results in databases.
• Provide guidance and training to employees in the job area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to CORE guidelines and EH&S rules.
• May perform additional tasks to support department objectives.
• Must be able to work hours outside of the normal shift.
