Job summary

Terracon in New York is seeking a Field Technician to support field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel on active projects.

You will assist senior technicians under supervision, collect samples, document results, and prepare reports for the Project Manager. This role requires attention to safety and the ability to work in a team environment, with travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience.
• A valid driver's license may be required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations.
• Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
• Communicate information to Project Manager for submittal.
• Travel to project sites as required.
• Maintain equipment and follow safety rules and procedures.
