Job summary

Building & Earth Sciences is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Project Manager to lead testing and inspection of construction materials on diverse job sites. You will oversee technicians, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality results for clients.

This on-site role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of ASTM/ACI/AASHTO standards, and the ability to coordinate with engineers, architects, and builders. PE preferred but not required; competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction materials testing and inspection.
• Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring teams.
• In-depth knowledge of ASTM, ACI, and AASHTO testing methods and standards.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in interpreting testing data.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• PE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians and inspectors, ensuring training, development and on-site safety.
• Oversee tests on concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, and more, ensuring standards compliance.
• Coordinate testing activities with engineers, architects, and construction teams.
• Analyze results and generate reports for stakeholders with actionable insights.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of codes and regulations to ensure best practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, addressing concerns and providing service.
