Rite-Hite is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate daily production activities and ensure the master schedule aligns with inventory requirements. You will plan, assign, and direct resources across production lines while supporting safety and housekeeping.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of related experience, and a welding certification. You will train staff, resolve daily issues, and monitor quality and efficiency trends in a fast-paced environment.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Coordinates production scheduling and daily production activities to conform with the master schedule and inventory requirements.
This is accomplished through effective planning, assigning, and directing of production resources within respective production line(s).
Coordinates daily work direction, directly assisting employees and working in production as required under the direction of the area supervisor.
Performs audits on a regular basis, as needed (approximately 40%).
Serves as primary contact for employees regarding resolving daily issues.
Serves as a liaison between the respective production area and the area supervisor.
Track and report quality and efficiency trends.
Understand, support, and help to enforce safe production practices and good housekeeping.
Assists Supervisor in identifying employees training needs.
Coordinates and/or provides on-the-job training accordingly.
Assists Supervisor by providing input regarding interviewing, hiring, performance appraisals, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
At least 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Requires welding certification
Requires knowledge of manufacturing procedures and capacities, company products and components, and production/inventory control procedures
Basic computer skills required
Forklift license is required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
