Rite-Hite is hiring a senior Integration and Platform Engineer in Wisconsin to build scalable services that ingest, transform, and expose data for automation. You will design data models, own backend and frontend touchpoints, and push for secure, observable, and resilient systems.
Applicants should have 7+ years of hands-on software engineering, strong experience with event-driven architectures, REST APIs, Docker/Kubernetes, and modern web interfaces. Hybrid collaboration with teams is expected.
At Rite-Hite, your work makes an impact. As the global leader in loading dock and door equipment, we design and deliver solutions that keep our customers safe, secure, and productive. Here, you’ll find innovation, stability, and the chance to grow your career as part of a team that’s always looking ahead.
Contribute to enterprise-scale integration capabilities, including REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven data flows that enable automation. Build and maintain services that ingest, transform, position, and expose data, optimizing retrieval for consumer purpose and access patterns. Design and own the data models that underpin these services. Help design and transform the platform toward an agent-first digital ecosystem, enabling seamless interaction with internal and third-party agentic services.
Write production-quality code on an active delivery cadence, contributing directly to shared team deliverables. Write and maintain unit, integration, and contract tests as a standard part of delivery. Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and design sessions through thoughtful input and a collaborative mindset. Proactively explore new technologies, patterns, and approaches relevant to the team’s mission. Contribute to customer-facing and internal interfaces as needed, delivering across the full stack when the team requires it. Evaluate existing applications for scalability and maintainability. Communicate clear short-term and long-term options, including when to stabilize, when to invest, and the tradeoffs of each. Sustain and support legacy solutions, keeping them stable and secure while contributing to the platform’s forward direction.
Build services with observability, error handling, and resiliency as core design considerations. Support troubleshooting of production integration issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
Individual contributor role focused on hands‑on development and shared team deliverables.
