Job summary

Rite-Hite Environmental Enclosures Corporation is seeking a capable Team Leader to support daily production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will provide direction to employees, coordinate materials and labor, and reinforce safety, quality, and 5S practices to improve workflow.

You'll work closely with the area supervisor to remove obstacles and ensure targets are met safely and efficiently, contributing to a structured, productive, and value-driven work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 5+ years in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience leading teams and promoting safety, quality, and 5S.

This position is responsible for supporting the department supervisor in achieving daily production goals by communicating production needs and coordinating materials, labor, and resources accordingly. The position provides work direction and support to production employees, working directly in their assigned work zone. This role of a team leader is to lead by example in safety, quality, productivity, and 5S, while actively identifying and addressing opportunities for daily improvement. The position promotes a safe, organized, and efficient work environment by reinforcing standard work, maintaining 5S expectations, identifying waste, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. The position works closely with the area supervisor and production team to remove obstacles, improve workflow, and ensure daily goals are achieved safely and efficiently.

Required Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); along with at least five years of experience in a fast- paced manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires a knowledge of manufacturing procedures and capacities, company products and components, and production/inventory control procedures. Ability to read and interpret design drawings. Basic computer skills required.
