Job summary

Ascent Aviation Services is seeking a Materials Supervisor for its Reclamations Department in Marana, AZ. You will lead shipping and receiving activities, oversee inventory control, and drive regulatory compliance to ensure smooth parts flow and timely customer deliveries.

You will manage a team, coordinate with Reclamation Harvest & Woodshop, and improve processes for packaging, labeling, and material readiness while maintaining safety and accuracy across the operation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, materials, inventory, logistics, or a related operational environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to obtain IATA, IMDG, Radiological Hazardous Materials Shipping, & forklift certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Shipping and Receiving personnel, including hiring, training, coaching, development, and accountability for productivity, quality, accuracy, and safety.
• Oversee daily shipping operations supporting Reclamation harvest activities and external customers; coordinate priorities and ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor department performance and flow of material from removal to shipment readiness; identify bottlenecks and manage recovery plans.
• Serve as primary customer focal point for shipping and material readiness with timely status updates.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure compliance with OSHA, FAA, and company safety standards.
