Job summary

Qualifications

  • Certificate or degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred; relevant work experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 1–2+ years of experience in materials management, logistics, or supply chain within manufacturing or warehouse.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is required, preferably 2+ years.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material planning.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of the materials team including warehousing, inventory control, and line supply.
  • Ensure materials are available to support production schedules and customer demand.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with procurement, planning, and production teams to ensure material availability and resolve shortages.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for material handling and storage.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse and materials areas.
  • Track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, material availability, and on‑time delivery to production.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and reduce waste.
  • Work with ERP/MRP systems to manage transactions related to materials movement and inventory.
