Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States (South Carolina, Columbia) is seeking a Production Planner to develop and optimize production plans aligned with the Master Production Schedule and plant objectives.

You will forecast demand, balance supply and demand, and drive schedule integrity across Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Materials to meet customer commitments and maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain, Operations preferred.
• CPIM certification is a plus.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with forecasting, inventory management, and MRP.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain production plans and schedules.
• Manage demand forecasts and ensure forecast accuracy.
• Balance supply and demand to meet service levels and inventory targets.
• Establish production priorities based on demand and capacity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to translate inputs into plans.
• Reconcile order changes and adjust schedules to minimize disruptions.
• Communicate with stakeholders to align on priorities and requirements.
• Maintain system planning data and monitor lead times, safety stocks, and settings.
