Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee materials handling and inventory for assigned projects. You will supervise a team, optimize warehouse operations, and ensure accurate records for timely delivery and project support.

The role requires 3–5 years in materials management, proficiency with inventory systems and MS Office, and a focus on safety and cost control. Experience with forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or warehousing.
• Supervisory experience and ability to lead a team are required.
• Strong knowledge of inventory processes: receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of materials handlers and ensure safety and policy adherence.
• Manage inventory control: receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, tracking.
• Maintain organized warehouse/laydown yard and optimize space.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with project, procurement, and field teams to forecast material needs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and materials waste reduction strategies.
• Prepare materials reports on inventory levels and usage.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S regulations.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and loaders.
• Contribute to development of materials management procedures.
