Job summary

Tru Vue, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10:00pm-6:30am) to control tracking, storage, and issuance of materials to production lines, while supporting safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires forklift operation license and at least one year of forklift experience. The position emphasizes using MRP and electronic inventory systems, cycle counts, and cross-training teammates to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Obtains and maintains a Tru Vue Forklift Operation License in good standing.
• One year of forklift experience, with a good driving record.
• Familiarity with electronic inventory management systems, including devices and processes.
• Computer data entry experience beneficial.
• Must be able to learn and perform electronic transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Quality systems preferred.
• Able to learn, understand, and perform all production jobs.
• Able to organize, prioritize, and plan ahead to meet production needs and minimize downtime.
• Able to accurately complete electronic transactions and paperwork related to inventory and production.
• Able to work effectively and cross train in a team environment.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows based environment. Previous bar-coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively controls the tracking, storage and issuance of materials to the production lines and assisting shipping/receiving areas.
• Proactively supports lines with materials for all aspects of production and packaging.
• Ensures proper inventory of production materials and finished goods to support scheduled orders in a Pull Manufacturing environment.
• Monitors and maintains receiving/shipping areas by timely warehousing items and properly staging outgoing product.
• Monitors and assist in packaging materials for shipment in the most effective manner.
• Inventories packaging materials and maintains FIFO.
• Supports routine cycle counts and other inventory functions.
• Uses MRP and electronic systems to report on product and location tracking.
• Develops and follows documented work procedures and supports continuous improvement.
