Job summary

Magna International is seeking a working Supervisor to oversee material handlers across all materials activities. The role requires ensuring safety, quality, and efficient operations in a production environment with weekly shift coverage.

Responsibilities include leading training for new team members, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating with support departments to resolve material issues. On-site work is essential, with a focus on continuous improvement and adherence to PFEP

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Supervisor experience of at least 2 years in a production setting.
• Experience leading and training others is expected.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Strong communication and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material handlers and coordinate daily activities.
• Maintain safety, quality, and 5S standards in the department.
• Monitor inventory and cycle counts; report discrepancies.
• Lead training for new team members and support ongoing development.
• Ensure ERP/barcode system usage for inventory transfers and reporting.
