Job summary

Magna International Cosma in Liberty, MO is seeking a hands-on Shipping Coordinator/Material Handler to support plant operations. You will assist with training operators, manage part deliveries to the line, and uphold 5S and safety standards while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a forklift license.
• Ability to drive tuggers and operate tablets, scanners, and printers for labels.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and set direction.
• Strong organizational skills and integrity are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various groups and respond to questions.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators and train them on material handling equipment and processes.
• Maintain flow rack identifications and locations for carts.
• Correct loading errors in line and system.
• Maintain lines with minimal downtime and ensure parts availability.
• Support and improve routes and evaluate material handler performance.
• Deliver parts to the line and report disruptions to leadership.
• Conduct cycle counts for line-side inventory and 5S safety checks.
• Record data and reports to meet department goals, and fill in for operators when needed.
• Lead by example with attendance and performance, supporting safety and quality policies.
