What You’ll Do
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts, including warehousing, shop, and delivery services, to ensure material availability and timely delivery to meet production schedules.
- Compile data on order volume, production schedules, and forecasts; apply statistical methods to estimate future material requirements.
- Maintain staff by orienting and training employees; develop personal growth opportunities.
- Achieve staff job results by coaching, counseling, disciplining, planning, monitoring, and appraising performance; conducting training; enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organizational standards and adhering to legal regulations.
- Complete operations by developing schedules; assigning and monitoring work; gathering resources; implementing productivity standards; resolving operational problems; maintaining manuals; and adopting new procedures.
- Control expenses by submitting cost-saving ideas, preparing budget information, monitoring expenditures and variances, and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, reviewing procedures, specifications, MI’s, and field manuals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience.
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively with customers outside the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
