Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Lead Materials Planner to drive regional and global forecasting in support of S&OP, inventory optimization, and efficient material flow. You will coordinate with regional teams to convert demand into orders and manage delivery priorities while reducing aging inventory.

Role requires 5+ years in supply chain planning, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and strong SAP/MRP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience (5+ years).
• Experience in order management, inventory optimization and asset utilization.
• Intermediate knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality.

Responsibilities

• Works with region sales and operations to create regional and global forecasts (12-18 months).
• Converts demand plans into orders and analyzes business trends affecting forecast.
• Drives consistency of the S&OP process and prioritizes delivery dates.
• Analyzes demand, inventory, aged stock, and safety stock to optimize materials.
• Implements inventory stocking strategies and coordinates with regions and plants.
