Job summary

Baker Hughes Holdings LLC is seeking a Materials Planner to translate demand into physical orders and align with sales, regions and AMO. You will plan order timelines to meet customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs.

You will analyze demand, manage material forecasts, maintain safety stock, and support S&OP processes alongside cross-functional teams. A focus on continuous improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in supply chain or related field or equivalent experience (2+ years).
• Experience in order management, inventory optimization and management.
• Basic understanding of SAP and MRP functionality.
• Ability to work with and influence stakeholders.
• Tactical execution with a sense of urgency.
• Certifications; APICS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Converts demand plans into physical orders with sales and operations team.
• Understands business trends and forecast impacts on demand.
• Analyzes incoming demand and opportunities to optimize inventory.
• Plans and schedules order timelines to meet customer needs and minimize costs.
• Prioritizes deliver dates with product line/sales/service delivery.
• Performs material management analyses including aging inventory and POs.
• Implements inventory stocking strategies.
• Monitors safety stock and aging inventory with regions and plants.
• Collaborates with AMO to capture spare parts and asset demands.
• Ensures new assets and spares are captured with S&OP.
• Supports continuous improvement projects to maximize value.
