Job summary

McCain Foods USA, Inc. in Easton, ME is seeking a Materials Receiver to support raw receiving and production by safely handling deliveries, inspecting materials, and maintaining sanitation.

You will coordinate truck unloading, monitor potato flow, document foreign material findings, and operate forklifts following safety policies. This role supports continuous improvement and a strong safety culture with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three months of related manufacturing, production, warehouse, or operational experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain McCain Forklift Certification.
• Successful completion of the McCain Operator Training Program.
• Basic computer skills and experience with database systems such as Infinity.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 20–50 pounds and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with truck placement and unloading coordination.
• Monitor flow of potatoes from delivery trucks.
• Inspect incoming raw product for foreign material and remove contaminants.
• Record foreign material findings and report results.
• Perform daily downtime sanitation in the raw receiving area.
• Replace excess raw inventory back into production lines as required.
• Change frying oil daily per established procedures.
• Coordinate with inspection services for timely sampling.
• Safely operate forklifts and related equipment.
• Support SQCD initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
