Job summary

Cox Machine, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Admin Clerk in Wichita to ensure availability of materials and services to support production schedules. The role supports the Quality Management System and coordinates with suppliers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of purchasing experience, familiarity with supply chain processes, and strong Excel skills, along with effective communication and teamwork abilities. This is a full-time on-site position in the United States.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year buying or purchasing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchases supplies, materials, outside services and parts for the company.
• Ensures compliance with related policies and contract processes and standards.
• Works with stakeholders and suppliers to meet material and service requirements at best cost, quality, reliability and delivery.
• Administers change requests to expedite or defer orders based on business needs and forecasts.
• Maintains and updates pricing or delivery date changes on purchase orders.
• Supports resolution of issues/disputes (pricing, quality, timing, claims) related to purchases.
• Monitors status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials/services.
• Keeps current knowledge of customer pulls and Global Shop data to determine supply/demand and negotiate terms.
