Job summary

Wastequip is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement in a manufacturing environment. You will process purchase orders, maintain vendor relationships, monitor deliveries, and support inventory and production needs to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The role requires 2+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience, familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards), and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, process, and track purchase orders aligned with production schedules.
• Communicate with vendors for quotes, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor order status and follow up on delays or back-ordered items.
• Maintain purchasing data in ERP systems and collaborate with production teams.
• Resolve invoice and receiving discrepancies and maintain supplier records.
