Job summary

Terracon in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction materials engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, schedule, scope, and budget compliance.

You will develop project plans, coordinate staff and vendors, monitor progress, prepare reports, and communicate with clients to deliver quality work on time. A PE/PG or 2-5 years' exp preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, geology or related field as per firm’s criteria.
• Or, in lieu of a degree, at least 9 years’ related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a small to medium sized construction materials engineering project.
• Define project scope, schedule and budget with client or NAM.
• Design, communicate, and implement a project plan to complete the project.
• Lead safety efforts including preparation and compliance with the safety plan.
• Resolve operational problems to minimize delays.
• Identify resources, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and external contractors as needed.
• Coordinate with APR for oversight and reviews at critical junctures.
• Coordinate with accounting for invoicing and collections.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline (Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology)

9+ years of related experience in lieu of degree
