Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Materials & Processes Engineer Intern to collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams. You will develop parameters, select materials and processes, review drawings, and manage qualification test campaigns while supporting production configurations on the floor.

Expect mentorship, hands-on experience, and events to learn about other parts of the organization, with housing/relocation support available. 15 weeks full-time internship.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S.
• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not enrolled in coursework.

Responsibilities

• Parameter development for materials and processes.
• Material and process selection to optimize configurations.
• Review drawings and support qualification test campaigns.
• Interact with and audit external vendors as needed.
• Provide on-going support to production floor configurations.
