Job summary

Figure is seeking a Materials Planning Manager to own end-to-end planning for its hardware production in San Jose. You translate build plans into material requirements, govern the master demand file, and manage CTB and shortages to support aggressive ramps.

You will partner with Manufacturing, NPI, Global Supply Management, Logistics and Warehousing to ensure material readiness on the production floor, drive inventory optimization, and deliver data-driven insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and demand modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own module-level demand planning and translate build plans into material requirements.
• Maintain and govern the master demand file with accuracy between planned and actual builds.
• Analyze yield rates and consumption trends to refine demand signals.
• Develop and manage part allocation plans for constrained supply scenarios.
• Own CTB (Clear-to-Build) reporting and ensure material readiness on the production floor.
• Oversee materials management activities including PO releases, ETA tracking, and inventory reconciliation.
