Lunar Energy, Inc. is seeking a Materials Planning Lead to drive end-to-end material readiness from prototypes to mass production. You will manage complex supply chains with contract manufacturers, mitigate E&O exposure, and leverage data analytics to ensure seamless builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant quantitative field is preferred.
• 5+ years of materials planning, NPI supply chain or hardware manufacturing operations.
• Experience managing consigned materials and supplier liabilities.
• Strong ERP/BI tool proficiency (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite; PowerBI/Tableau/Looker) and advanced Excel.
• Ability to model demand scenarios and manage buffers with financial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Direct material requirements planning and kitting for prototypes across builds.
• Track clear-to-build status with contract manufacturers to prevent line-downs.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering on BOM changes and revision roll-overs.
• Model demand swings and size material buffers to optimize working capital.
• Monitor yield and scrap, adjust reorder points accordingly.
• Develop and maintain real-time dashboards on C2B status, shortages, lead times, inventory turns.
• Lead weekly material review boards and drive timely issue resolution with suppliers.
