Job summary

Patriot Acquistions LLC in Texas is seeking a Material Manager to plan, organize, and control the flow of materials, inventory, and supplies to support production and operational requirements. You will ensure materials are available when needed while maintaining optimal inventory levels and controlling costs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
5+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage inventory control strategies to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Oversee material planning, forecasting, and scheduling to support production requirements.
Coordinate purchasing activities and supplier relationships to ensure timely material availability.
Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
Analyze inventory trends and implement corrective actions to reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
Manage warehouse operations related to receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
Track KPIs including inventory turns, stock accuracy, and on-time delivery.
Lead, train, and develop warehouse and inventory personnel.
