BorgWarner Arden is seeking a Material Handler/Planning Support professional at its North American Technical Center in Arden, NC. The role supports parts receiving, staging, and inventory management in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualificações

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Must have a Valid Fork Truck License or be able to obtain one.
• Computer literacy is necessary. Must be able to send and receive e-mail, and work with Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP and Teams.
• Agile. Quickly adapt to changing environments with flexibility and responsiveness.
• Collaborative. Ability to prioritize tasks based on significance.
• Attendance on the job is essential.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Parts Receiving: check incoming part orders for completeness, inspect using calipers/micrometres, ensure cleanliness and proper packaging to minimize damage.
• Parts Receiving: update inventory in GEMS, enter notes and traceability, move heavy material with pallet jack or PIT.
• Parts Staging: interpret work orders, stage parts for builds, communicate status via GEMS or documents, coordinate with Arden Manufacturing.
• Inventory Management: restock small parts, organize workspace, dispose of excess or obsolete inventory.
• Communication: build cross-functional relationships, inform stakeholders, convey urgency when needed.
• Problem Solving: use critical thinking to improve processes, collaborate to resolve issues, pursue continuous improvement.
• Work Environment: transport material safely, maintain orderly workspace, follow health, safety, and quality policies, perform other duties.
