Job summary

The Associate Production/Planner/Scheduler role in Twinsburg, OH partners with Production, Quality, Customer Service and Shipping to keep materials flowing and production on schedule. You will coordinate purchasing, production planning, and inventory control to meet customer demand while maintaining accurate ERP data.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years in purchasing or planning within manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities while driving

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, production planning, inventory control, materials management, or a related supply chain function.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Experience using an ERP system for purchasing, planning, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of purchasing, MRP, production scheduling, and inventory management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork across departments.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to identify process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials, components, and supplies.
• Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders in ERP.
• Monitor open POs and follow up on confirmations and shortages.
• Expedite materials to meet production needs.
• Communicate delays to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain supplier data, lead times, and purchasing parameters.
• Review demand and production requirements to support planning.
• Adjust plans based on demand, priorities, and capacity.
• Coordinate with Production, Customer Service, Quality, and Shipping.
• Monitor lead times and communicate risks to schedules.
• Support inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
