Job summary

Aston Carter seeks a Materials Planner for a contract-to-hire role based in Carlstadt, NJ. You will manage purchasing, supplier follow-up, and inventory replenishment using Oracle ERP to ensure product availability across warehouses, 3PLs, and Amazon fulfillment channels.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, timely communication with suppliers, and proactive replenishment decisions to prevent stockouts across multiple locations while supporting revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in planning, materials mgmt, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with Oracle ERP (Oracle EBS preferred) for purchasing and inventory.
• Experience with Amazon inventory and fulfillment processes.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Update and monitor purchase orders in Oracle ERP to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with suppliers on lead times, orders, and shipments.
• Expedite materials to meet customer demand.
• Track open POs and escalate delays or risks.
• Support inventory planning across multiple warehouses.
• Align 3PL and Amazon inventory activity with Oracle records.
