Job summary

WD is seeking a Material Planner to ensure availability of spare parts and manufacturing supplies for ongoing operations. The role manages Oracle Cloud planning parameters, creates purchase requisitions, and coordinates with Engineering and Procurement on part setup, pricing, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities include optimizing min/max levels, monitoring material forecasts, and driving continuous improvements in planning accuracy and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years in material planning or inventory management in manufacturing or maintenance.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain inventory levels for spare parts and manufacturing supplies.
• Manage min/max levels and other planning parameters in Oracle Cloud.
• Create and manage purchase requisitions and follow up with suppliers.
• Coordinate part deliveries with quarterly material forecast and schedules.
• Lead the ECN process for part numbers and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Engineering for new part setup and pricing accuracy.
• Work with Procurement on pricing and supplier issues.
• Analyze consumption data to adjust planning parameters for reliability.
• Support audits and compliance related to material control and planning.
