Job summary

Knorr Brake Company is seeking a Material Planner 1 in Westminster, MD to manage production and material flow to support the Master Production Schedule. You will monitor data across capacity, lead times, and lot sizes, ensuring compliance with ISO and other standards.

The role requires strong ERP knowledge, particularly SAP, and the ability to optimize cost, quality, and schedule adherence for non-exempt manufacturing staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials planning or production scheduling.
• Knowledge of ISO standards referenced in job description.
• Ability to maintain data integrity and reporting for MPS/MRP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly production shortage reports from MPS inputs.
• Ensure data integrity in Work Order Maintenance and related modules.
• Maintain floor stock and WIP inventory transactions daily.
• Provide management with metrics tied to MPS and MRP performance.
• Plan capacity requirements to ensure schedule adherence and productivity.
