Job summary

Knorr Brake Company, a Knorr-Bremse Group entity, seeks a Material Planner to manage production and material flow to keep the Master Production Schedule on track in Westminster, MD. You will coordinate data from multiple modules and maintain data integrity across work orders, lead times, and lot sizes.

The role emphasizes adherence to ISO standards, quality and HSE rules, and safeguarding business records while driving cost-effective manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules.
• Understand and comply with ISO 9001, ISO 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, AAR, and CMMI.
• Maintain and safeguard business records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly production shortage reports using MPS.
• Ensure data integrity of the Work Order Maintenance system including releases and material availability.
• Maintain daily floor stock and WIP transactions, scrap handling, and lot sizing.
• Provide management with KPIs and metrics tied to MPS and MRP.
• Plan capacity requirements to ensure schedule adherence, including manpower and equipment.
• Support other colleagues and perform additional duties as needed.
