Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is hiring a Material Planner 1 in Springfield, MO to lead the material requirements plan and production strategy to meet schedules and customer orders. The role emphasizes strong SAP/ERP capability and daily coordination with sales and demand planning.

Responsibilities include maintaining MRP/MPS processes, tracking delays, and driving continuous improvement through Lean Daily Management.

Qualifications

• Global ERP knowledge and production planning understanding.
• SAP knowledge strongly preferred with CRP, MPS, and MRP modules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and lead the Material Requirements Plan (MRP)/Production strategy to meet the S&OP Production Schedule and customer orders for manufactured material.
• Lead on-time customer order and supplier delivery fulfillment KPIs while meeting inventory turns targets using SCE policies.
• Maintain systems daily: production schedules, floor stock and WIP inventory transactions, scrap transactions, ECN management, COGI errors, and kanban/control cycles.
• Provide management with measurements for MPS and MRP, including reporting past-due hours and delays.
• Participate in Lean Daily Management (LDM) and continuous improvement projects using KPS and SCE techniques and policies.
• Ensure smooth flow of production optimizing cost, quality, schedule adherence, and productivity of non-exempt workforce.
• Daily interaction with Sales/Demand Planning for customer order fulfillment.
• Provide support to colleagues and other duties as requested.
