Job summary

Global Edge Consultants, LLC is seeking a Material Planner to quote, plan and schedule repairs to meet customer specifications and deadlines. You will coordinate with engineering, purchasing, sales and operations to ensure customer expectations are met.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in manufacturing, MRP experience, and proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office. This role involves detailed quotations, order checks and cross-department collaboration to optimize material flow.

Qualifications

• Quote and schedule repairs to meet customer specifications.
• Check orders for identity, price, delivery time, shipping and billing.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, sales and operations.
• Experience with MRP and SAP preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years relevant experience in manufacturing settings.
• Ability to own tasks and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed repair quotations for customer equipment.
• Check customer orders, including identity number, price, delivery time, shipping and billing address and customer specifications.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to provide updates on order status and expedite requests.
• Request quotes and initiate purchase orders.
• Control incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Schedule with suppliers, including delivery date check, reconciliation and information.
• Support with warehouse activities as needed (incoming goods, inspection, packaging, shipping).
• Other duties as assigned.
